Marcel Voss

Marcel Voss is the house photographer for flash. His issues are shot after dark with a hard on-camera flash, so the subject glows against a background that drops away to black. Skin runs a little overexposed, colors fade toward warm reds and ambers, and a frame will often carry a white Polaroid border.

Expect hotel rooms, mirrors, silk robes and the feeling of a picture taken quickly and kept in a drawer. He is the usual choice for The Feature, where the mood builds slowly over a handful of frames. Marcel is a fictional style created for Galshots, not a real photographer.
